The school form. The pedagogical imaginary of the socio-educational experiment CAI Barrio La Gloria

Abstract

The research focuses on the pedagogical imaginary (Castoriadis, 2013) that underlies the discourse of the socio-educational agents of the Children’s Activities Center of the neighborhood of La Gloria. For this purpose, we analyzed individual interviews and focus group (coordinator, community teachers and workshop) in relation to three dimensions that constitute the school: spaces, times and pedagogical forms (Larrosa, 2018). We intend to put in tension the instituting and instituted school form, in order to rethink educational practices in heterogeneous classrooms to strengthen school trajectories and promote inclusive and quality education.

This essay addresses meanings that contemplate the socio-educational experiment such as: educational experience, equality and inclusion, everyday life and corporality as crucial axes at the border of the school and the socio-educational that contribute to the construction of educational justice.

The methodology was approached from the qualitative perspective from the fieldwork, from the case study in a single unit of analysis. The research design is emerging, understood in the inductive method that is nourished by methodological strategies based on a heuristic process. The general objective is to recover and analyze the social imaginaries that underlie the discourses of the subjects who participated in the CAI of La Gloria neighborhood (period: 2012 to 2015).

The results anticipate instituting pedagogical forms that are constituted in socio-educational experiments as alternative pedagogies to strengthen school trajectories and expand the cultural universes of the children of affected contexts.

Resumen

La investigación está centrada en el imaginario pedagógico que subyace del discurso de los agentes socioeducativos del Centro de Actividades Infantiles del barrio de La Gloria. Para ello se analizó la información de entrevistas individuales y de un grupo de enfoque en relación a tres dimensiones que constituyen la escuela: espacios, tiempos y formas pedagógicas (Larrosa, 2018). Pretendemos poner en tensión la forma escolar instituyente e instituida, a efectos de repensar las prácticas educativas en las aulas heterogéneas para fortalecer las trayectorias escolares y favorecer a una educación inclusiva y de calidad. Se abordan significaciones que contemplan el experimento socioeducativo como: experiencia educativa, igualdad e inclusión educativa, cotidianeidad y la corporalidad como ejes cruciales en la frontera de lo escolar y lo socioeducativo que contribuyen a la construcción de la justicia educativa.

La perspectiva cualitativa atraviesa el trabajo de campo, en un estudio de caso constituido por una única unidad de análisis. El diseño de investigación es emergente, comprendido en el método inductivo que se nutre de estrategias metodológicas sobre la base de un proceso heurístico. Su principal objetivo es recuperar y analizar los imaginarios sociales que subyacen en los discursos de los sujetos que participaron del CAI del barrio La Gloria en el periodo: 2012 a 2015.

Los resultados anticipan formas pedagógicas instituyentes que se constituyen en este programa con enfoque socioeducativo como pedagogías alternativas para fortalecer las trayectorias escolares y ampliar los universos culturales de los niños y las niñas de contextos vulnerados.
