Abstract
The present investigation was carried out at the Jesús Menéndez CPA, in Encrucijada, Villa Clara. It is subordinated to ANAP and AZCUBA. Its fundamental economic activity is the production of sugar cane. The study is planned with the objective of measuring the indicators that determine economic and social efficiency, to propose a plan of measures that will improve management in said cooperative.
The research is justified and viable given that there are no previous studies, it is a first contribution to the management of improving the economic efficiency of the Jesús Menéndez CPA, so the proposal constitutes a work tool to achieve greater efficiency, with maximum use in production, minimizing costs, as well as raising the cultural level of all workers and their general well-being. It can serve as a base for other cooperatives whose fundamental economic activity is the production of sugar cane.
Resumen
La presente investigación fue realizada en la CPA Jesús Menéndez, en Encrucijada, Villa Clara. La misma se subordina a la ANAP y AZCUBA. Siendo su actividad económica fundamental la producción de caña de azúcar. Se proyecta el estudio con el objetivo de medir los indicadores que determinan la eficiencia económica y social, para proponer un plan de medidas que logre perfeccionar la gestión en dicha cooperativa.
La investigación se justifica y es viable dado que no existen estudios precedentes, es una primera contribución a la gestión por la mejora de la eficiencia económica y social de la CPA Jesús Menéndez, por lo que la propuesta constituye una herramienta de trabajo para alcanzar un máximo aprovechamiento en la producción, minimizando los costos, así como elevar el nivel cultural de todos los trabajadores y su bienestar general. Puede servir de base para otras cooperativas que tienen como actividad económica fundamental, la producción de caña de azúcar.
