Workshop 1: Theoretical, descriptive and applied studies of languages in the contemporary social context
Abstract
Somatic locutions have been studied in recent years in the center of the country, mainly taking into account the Spanish school and its contributions in this thematic area. They are active units in the colloquy and therefore they have been analyzed from different points of view: their structure, function, in the speech of the elderly, youth and adolescents. The objective of this work is to characterize a group of somatic locutions in the variant of Cuban Spanish, specifically in the central region of the country and to verify their existence in the Documented Phraseological Dictionary of Current Spanish (DFDEA) and in the Exemplified Dictionary of Cuban Spanish (DEEC). For this purpose, the corpus has been formed from the extraction of the spoken language. The novelty of this proposal is that it is found which locutions of our variant appear in the DFDEA and those that are different or are not present. It has become evident that there are locutions where the somatic element is directly related to the metalinguistic function and others where it is linked by other constituent elements and their global meaning. In this way, as part of the lines of the Group of Studies on Phraseology of Cuba (GEFRASCU) and of the Project Identity Processes and Cultural Approaches, it is contributed to the studies on somatic phraseology in our country since they had been scarcely approached.
Resumen
Las locuciones somáticas se han estudiado en los últimos años en el centro del país teniendo presente fundamentalmente a la escuela española y sus aportes en esta área temática. Son unidades activas en el coloquio y por ello se han analizado desde diferentes aristas: su estructura, función, en el habla del adulto mayor, juvenil y de adolescentes. El objetivo de este trabajo es caracterizar un grupo de locuciones somáticas en la variante del español de Cuba, específicamente en la región central del país y comprobar su existencia en el Diccionario fraseológico documentado del español actual (DFDEA) y en el Diccionario ejemplificado del español de Cuba (DEEC). Para ello se ha conformado el corpus a partir de la extracción de la lengua hablada. Lo novedoso de esta propuesta es que se constata cuáles locuciones de nuestra variante aparecen en el DFDEA y aquellas que son diferentes o no están. Ha resultado evidente la existencia de locuciones donde el elemento somático se relaciona directamente con la función metalingüística y otras donde se vincula por otros elementos constituvos y su significado global. De esta manera, como parte de las líneas del Grupo de Estudios sobre Fraseología de Cuba (GEFRASCU) y del Proyecto Procesos identitarios y acercamientos culturales, se aporta a los estudios sobre fraseología somática en nuestro país pues habían sido escasamente abordados.
