Workshop 4: Language teaching and development of competences in the educational field
Abstract
Pragmatics, as a discipline that deals with the conditions that determine the use and interpretation of statements, has already acquired a natural letter, and claims for itself the analysis and explanation of aspects related to the implementation of communicative competence. .Consequently, Pragmatics has become an obligatory subject in the training of the teacher of a second language or a foreign language. It offers you the necessary theoretical and methodological tools to be able to advance in the description of the rules and allows you to achieve a better understanding of the mechanisms that underlie the way in which the speakers use the language. Different researchers and scholars carry out analyzes on the subject, such is the case: M. Canale (1983), L. Bachman (1990), M. Escandell (1988), (2003), Vera Luján and Blanco Rodríguez, (2014) who focus their research on suggesting that the explanations given are insufficient. The analysis of the results obtained from the empirical methods, allowed to identify as a lack in the command of the target language the lack of theoretical-methodological unity of the teachers on the subject, demonstrated in the insufficient appropriation of pragmatic skills in the teaching-learning process in the immersion context where he learns. With the present investigation, it is a question of venturing into the fundamental elements to achieve effective mastery of the target language from the implementation of actions to promote the development of pragmatics in the ELE classroom
Resumen
La Pragmática, como disciplina que se ocupa de las condiciones que determinan el uso y la interpretación de enunciados, ha adquirido ya carta de naturaleza, y reclama para sí el análisis y la explicación de los aspectos relacionados con la puesta en práctica de la competencia comunicativa.
En consecuencia, la Pragmática se ha convertido en una materia obligada en la formación del profesor de una segunda lengua o de una lengua extranjera. Le ofrece las herramientas teóricas y metodológicas necesarias para poder avanzar en la descripción de las reglas y permite lograr una mejor comprensión de los mecanismos que subyacen al modo en que los hablantes usan la lengua.
Diferentes investigadores y estudiosos realizan análisis sobre el tema, tal es el caso: de M. Canale (1983), L. Bachman (1990), M. Escandell (1988), (2003), Vera Luján y Blanco Rodríguez, (2014) quienes centran sus investigaciones en sugerir que las explicaciones que se dan son insuficientes
El análisis de los resultados obtenidos a partir de los métodos empíricos, permitió identificar como carencia en el dominio de la lengua meta la falta de unidad teórico-metodológica de los docentes sobre el tema, demostrado en la insuficiente apropiación de habilidades pragmáticas en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en el contexto de inmersión donde aprende.
Con la presente investigación se trata de incursionar en los elementos fundamentales para lograr el dominio eficaz de la lengua meta a partir de la implementación de acciones para favorecer el desarrollo de la pragmática en el aula de ELE
